Full Version: The man i hoped he was
I'm writng this as a surfer and a father.Me and my wife saw donavan play a free show on the boardwalk in oc md 5 years ago with our little boy he enjoyed it very much,fast foward 5 years to yeserday morning driving trough dewey we see his tour bus turning to the bottle and cork so we follow it.Donavan was the gentalman i hopeed he would be he got up took pics with my kids invited me my wife and two kids on the bus for some morning chat.Thank you so much for living up to my expectaions and then some youve got a fan for life The mitchells on the east coast.

that is one of the things that i love about Doni, No matter where or when he ALWAYS makes his fans feel like family and is always willing to stop and chat.
His entire Band is the best set of guys.....

I went to The Bottle and Cork many years ago to see The Smithereens. What a wonderful hole in the wall that place was. Load as hell with dogs running through. So glad to hear Donavon and the boys were so accommodating. Can we get a concert review??

the place is a great place to see music i posted just a couple of pics in the pics place on this board. We didnt go to the show our kids are still little no babysitter maybe another time.I hace seen g love there twice great show also.
