Donavon has teamed up with Tia Juana's Beach Cantina to open "Donavon Frankenreiter's Margarita House"! It will be located beneath Tia Juana's Beach Cantina & Restaurant at Ka'anapali Resort in Maui.

Donavon's Margarita House features a personal collection of music memorabilia including vintage electric guitars, amps, 8-track tapes, vinyl records, skateboards and best of all, a '70s vintage Marshall stack that actually works built in as part of the bar! Also, see Donavon's amazing collection of more than 70 single-fin surfboards-some from the '60s and '70s!

Live local island entertainment is planned as part of the DF Margarita House vibe. Also, Donavon himself is planning to drop in from time-to-time to say hi and to play some of his hit tunes.

Tia Juana's Beach Cantina & Donavon's Margarita House are scheduled to have their grand opening in September '09.

Damn....wish this was open when we went to Ka'Anapali in Nov 2008. Not sure how much flights cost now (we used frequent flier miles) but if I could afford it I'd go again in a heartbeat!! If you go bring snorkeling gear for Honolua Bay just up the road!!

Just added a note regarding New Year's Eve...

Although it had been mentioned on the Tiajuana's webpage that Donavon would be playing a NYE show there this year, he in fact WILL NOT be playing there!

There will be a NYE show...just not in Hawaii. Please spread the word to help ease any possible confusion.
