When is it droppin??

I thought I heard it was at the end of March. I was also hearing that he was only going to release his next album in the Hawaiian Islands / Surf Shops before it goes to the mainland. If you saw the Daily Habit he spoke about this on the show. Peace Out - West Coast

Yeah he mentioned on the Daily H. that Revisited would be Dropping in Hawaii next month sometime, and then world wide later he also touched on RR2. that it would dropping after a quick promo tour of Revisited. so hopefully in the fall

I'll have an official announcement on this very soon...hopefully within a day or two!

Notice that I said "hopefully". Trust me...I want to make an announcement just as badly as you want to hear about it! The release date has changed so many times that I do not want to make anymore "announcements" until I know something firm.

It hasn't dropped there yet. That is indeed the album cover though, and it is targeted for a June release, but 6/16/10 is still only an estimate and therefore still "unofficial". Hope to have a firm day of release within the next week. Its all dependent on manufacturing times.

Sorry Mr Admin.................I hope I am not being difficult. Fans just want to know when and where everything is going on. DF doesn't post much on his website and I just want all the fans to know what is going on.

Its all good. Its just that we had "firm" release dates set last year at least two different times for RR2 and it got changed and changed again. So because of that confusion, we aren't announcing anything publicly again until we know for sure what's happening with it.

As far as keeping the fans informed, we do our best with what factual information we can get. Things change constantly in this industry so its hard sometimes to keep an even flow of information and updates going all the time. But whenever we know we can go to press with something we will do it ASAP to get the word out!

Recycled Recipes 2 just dropped on my desk from Japan. Nice tunes.

could someone please tell why the Recycled Recipes 2 is still not released worldwide - only available as an expensive import from Japan?

Think that's a good question. I know there was a message on here saying nothing would be announced until it was definately out - but it'd be good to know something?

First off - my apologies to the both of you, and to the myriad of other folks who have asked similar questions on various outlets around the world wide web. I know its certainly frustrating when you're waiting for something like this from an artist you like, you know it exists and is available some places, but can't get a clear answer on when *you* can easily obtain it.

The short answer is that RR2 *will* become available in the US at some point; possibly this year.

The long answer from what I understand of the situation has to do with timing at this point. RR2 was slated for release several different times over the last two years and those release dates got axed for various reasons, almost all of which were out of Donavon's control. At this point, now that "Glow" has been released, *that* is the main focus for everyone from a management perspective. Once the wave of promotion for Glow dies down, I think you can expect to see RR2 released to help fill the void so-to-speak.

I wish I could give you all a firm release date with 100% certainty, but is just not possible at this point in time. All I can off is a sincere thanks for being patient!

Any word on if/when Recycled Recipes 2 will ever be released?

First off - still no word on when this will be released in territories outside of Japan (including the USA). If I had to guess I would say it may come out sometime this Spring, but that's my educated guess based on hearsay.

Also, I merged the two existing threads into this one "master" RR2 thread so we can keep all the discussion/speculation/rumors/etc in one place.

bring some when you are on tour, i'll buy a copy in France !

UPDATE 10/14/11: RR2 is being released on iTunes in the USA & Canada on Tuesday Nov. 1st!!! YAY!!!
